Burleson
Burleson is a small community situated around Interstate Highway 35W, U.S. Highway 81, State Highway 174, and Farm roads 731 and 3391, fourteen miles south of Fort Worth in northern Johnson and southern Tarrant counties. There are many high quality apartments in Burleson. With very close proximities to the Missouri, Kansas, Texas Gulf, Colorado, and Santa Fe Railroads, the area is an ideal location for a railway depot. For this reason, the site was founded in 1881 by Grenville M. Dodge, who, representing the MKT Railroad, purchased the land, originally part of the J. W. Henderson survey, from Reverend Henry C. Renfro. Burleson has a

Though the town my have a modest history, it has recently earned
recognition for the production of two-time Grammy winner and
Sony recording artist Kelly Clarkson. The singer earned her
fame after being pronounce the winner of the infamous televised
singing competition, American Idol. Kelly’s two albums include “Breakaway” and “Thankful,” the latter of which has been certified as double-platinum by the RIAA.
