Cedar Hill is a convenient sixteen miles from downtown Dallas
and two miles north of the Ellis county line, and fed by U.S.

red cedar evergreen trees and stand at an elevation of about

County until in 1856 a tornado hit the community, destroying
most of its buildings and homes and claiming the lives of
nine people. However, by the 1980s the area had fully recovered
