Fort Worth , the fifth-largest city in the state of Texas and the 19th-largest in the United States, covers almost 300 square miles and is the county seat of Tarrant County. As of 2005, Fort Worth had a population of 624,067. This large and metropolitan city has several districts that can appeal to all varieties of people. The parks district also contains several notable attractions including the Fort Worth Zoo - ranked one of the top 10 best zoos in the United States.
